Ever since MySpace was invented, highly technological entrepreneurs are doing everything they can to think of the next big marketing idea. Some ideas have failed, others, however, have done well and have become not only great social applications, but excellent social marketing tools. Twitter, for instance, is one amazing social networking tool that has become extremely popular and that has huge potential in the social marketing world.

Setting It Up

In order to effectively use a twitter account for social marketing, it is vital that you set up your Twitter profile correctly. If you don’t, you could be taken for a spammer, which will not gain you any favors in the Twitter world. Make sure you put your real name in the username space, and not your businesses name. You can promote your business better in the Bio section. Next, make sure your web address is written correctly in the web section. Also, make sure that you put your company’s location. Having a real location is a great way to begin a connection with your potential Twitter followers.

Your profile picture is also important to consider. If you want to be very sociable, you can put a headshot of you in the picture. Many businesses, however, use their company’s logo. Make sure that the logo looks good and is recognizable when it’s minimized so that your followers will know that it’s you when you post a Tweet.

Conversations

In order to effectively use Twitter, you need to engage in conversations and to have some friends. The best way to find friends for your business on Twitter is to look first to actual people you know. Befriend them and then you can start looking to their friends. This spirals out quickly and will give you a number of followers in a fairly short amount of time.

In order to keep these followers, and to gain more, make sure that you are using your 140 characters correctly. In some cases you only have one tweet to gain the attention of your followers, so make it a good one. If you’re talking about products, include shortened links to that product, and try to keep your tweets as fun to read as possible. You can especially garner a great deal of attention if you start having giveaways or contests via your Twitter account, as this allows your readers to connect to you and to get something in the bargain.

Getting involved and involving your business on the internet can be a very intimidating thing. You not only have to find a website host, you also have to figure out what programs you are going to use in order to sell your products, or to list your products, or what programs you’ll use simply in order to put text and graphics on your page. Those who have a background in design may be able to manage a basic website page, or even a fairly superior one, but unless you have a background in site design, you may not be able to get your website user friendly, which is why many look to find a local Dallas web design company.

What Is User Friendly?

Many people choose to use a Dallas web design company in order to make their website user friendly, but what is user friendly? A website that is user friendly is one in which the person who goes onto the site is able to navigate through fairly easily. For instance, say a customer or client of your website wants to be able to look at your services online. If they go on the website and can not find a link to your services, or to your rates, they may get frustrated. Or if they can not find a link to your contact information, they may decide to give up on your company entirely and to work with someone who has a website that is better designed than yours is.

In today’s world almost every business has a website, simply because they know that having a website is the easiest way to connect quickly, and thoroughly, with any customers or clients. Dallas web design companies are often sought after by businesses of all sizes, from the very small mom-and-pop companies, to large companies who have a lot to lose, or to gain, on the way their website is presented.

Doing It Right

Is there a way to do Dallas web design right? Absolutely, but it’s not by using any cookie-cutter design template, or by having someone who has never professionally designed a website before do the job. The best way to get your site looking great, and user friendly in its design, is to use a company who has had a great deal of experience designing websites. It is also vital that you select a company who can not only make one type of website look good, but one who can make many different styles of sites look good and look different, as you do not want to have the same design on your page as your competitor does.

Make no mistake about it, getting the right Dallas web design company for your website is extremely important, no matter what size your business is. It’s the difference between getting more clients and allowing your company to be spread and thought well of throughout the internet, or having a website that just sits there and does not feel, look, or work in an engaging manner with your clients and website visitors.

People who find our website http://www.chakery.com typically are looking for website design, website development, or other keyword terms or phrases that tye into the search engines in some way. These people are searching for a company to design or redesign a website that is search engine friendly. They are looking for someone who has experience with building websites that will yield results. Once they have visited our website and have reviewed our website design portfolio they will then either call us or fill out our website design quote form on our website. We then contact the person by phone or email to get a better understanding of what the potential client is looking for with regards to their new website design or seo project. We then put together a website design quote for the client. Our quotes include unlimited mock-up concepts or designs of the actual homepage until the client is happy with the look and feel of the website. We inlcude free stock images that we purchase online on behalf of the client from istock photo. Most competitors will only allow for 2-3 initial mock ups and will typically charge you for each stock photo you need for your website. We charge the client 50% down to start the project and the final amount is due upon successful completion of the project. We feel that this gives us a committment from the client and the client has a committment from us to complete the project.
